Mega Scout Expo 2010 is the single largest program activity sponsored by the Las Vegas Area Council. Area youth from all over Southern Nevada, and from Kingman, and Lake Havasu, Arizona, will converge on Sunset Park beginning at 4 pm on Friday April 23, 2010  More than 10,000 scouts and adult leaders are invited to camp on the shores of Sunset Park Lake, where an evening camp fire program will introducing the Scouting theme to the boys and the leaders.

Months before Mega Scout Expo 2010, you may be approached by Scouts inviting you to participate in Scout Expo by purchasing a valuable Scout Expo Card.  This credit card sized discount card is your pass to see the exhibits the boys have set up at Sunset Park.  But your $5 donation is worth much more.  The ticket also provides you access to thousands of half price offers, hugh discounts, and BOGOs (buy one, get one) at locations all over the country.  Many have purchased the cards as gifts for relatives out of town, who can benefit from this nationwide discount program.  Discount Card Sales begin on March 13, 2010.

The Merit Badge Midway will be expanded to include 48 merit badges, offered in 4 sessions. Classes are two hours long, and start at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM,  1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.  Registration is required in advance over the internet. The price is $5 per merit badge, and includes a Scout Expo 2009 Discount Card for each participant.

Trading cards will be offered to boys as they participte in the Expo Activities. Boys and leaders will recive a special patch, with special segments for booth participation, camping overnight, advancement, and ticket sales.  

Camping for Webelos and Scout Troops at Scout Expo is a great time.

	Booth Participation Sign up for a booth run by your unit. Booth sponsors earn an extra 10 percent on ticket sales commissions.
	Souvenir Program Book Earn 25% commission by getting your dad to buy an ad.
